About Norcon
Norcon Computers Ltd was founded in July 1983 by Robert Green, who owned a chain of CTN stores in the Derby area, and Kim Laws, who came from an IT education background.
Today we are one of the country's leading suppliers of Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) systems to retail newsagents and convenience stores, with our Response solution of EPoS tills, hand held terminals, wholesaler links, broadband connections and modules to handle stock and financial control.
We also lead the field in Retail newspaper and magazine sales management software, developing our News Slave products to help retailers efficiently handle home news deliveries, including one-click downloads of wholesaler updates and replenishment initiatives to minimise returns.
Our outstanding level of customer service to independent users has been recognised by all the country's main newspaper and magazine wholesale suppliers. In addition, the Daily Telegraph's 'Business Builder' series featured Norcon Computers as a 'leading supplier'.
It is testament to our customer support that Mackworth News, the site of our very first installation, is still using a Norcon Computers system today (although they have had to replace the original computer!). |
